03 Tarangire, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Safari

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel. You will then drive to Tarangire National Park, which is famous for its towering baobab trees and large herds of elephants. The park is also home to a wide variety of other wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras and wildebeests, as well as over 500 species of birds.

Enjoy a game drive through the park and have a picnic lunch inside it.

After lunch, you will continue with a short game drive until late afternoon, after which you will be transferred to Karatu for relaxation.

Dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu.

After breakfast, the next stop is Lake Manyara National Park, a park that is known for its lush greenery, groundwater forest, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and diverse birdlife. The park also offers stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Enjoy a game drive exploring the lakeshore and woodlands, followed by a picnic lunch inside the park.

In the late afternoon, return to your lodge in Karatu to rest and have dinner.

Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas. The crater floor is home to the world’s highest concentration of large mammals, including lions, hippos, elephants, hyenas and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a half-day game drive in the crater, stopping for a picnic lunch at a designated site by the hippo pool.

In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha.

You will then be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
