Your adventure commences with a pre-dawn collection from your hotel in Arusha. After a short meeting to give you some information, drive to Tarangire National Park, a place well known for its special baobab trees and large number of elephants. The park is also home to lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, ostriches and other animals.
Enjoy a scenic game drive through the park and spot wildlife along the Tarangire River, which is a vital water source during the dry season.
Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park.
In the late afternoon, you will depart for Karatu, a charming town located near the Ngorongoro Highlands.
You will be dining and spending the night at a lodge in Karatu, the Farm of Dream Lodge.
Wake up early and drive to Lake Eyasi for a unique cultural immersion with the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa.
Join them on a morning hunting expedition to learn about their survival skills, traditional tools and way of life. Afterwards, visit the Datoga blacksmiths, who are renowned for crafting weapons and tools from recycled metals.
